WELCOME
all are welcomed but please don't spammed!
As the snow stops falling and you begin to move around the campus this evening and tomorrow morning, please be careful. There are spots that are icy and there may be some drifting that occurs this evening on walks and in the lots. I ask for you patience with salting, snow removal and routine custodial and maintenance tasks until a full team has time to assemble in the morning to finish the snow removal chore. We estimate that all walks and stoops will be clear by 12N if not sooner.
I would like to thank Tim Andrews and Dan Duerst for the dedication they showed today in attempting to stay ahead of the snow in order to keep the campus open tomorrow. They have been on campus today for over 14 hours dealing with one of the largest snowfalls in Madison since 1990. We're not sure if either of them will be able to get home this evening, but I know that both will be back at snow removal tomorrow morning at 5 a.m.
Thank you for your patience.
